The next episode of Fairview Shores is here! Be sure to watch the video, give it a like, and subscribe to my channel to follow along.
Where we’re at now:
Above: The city’s current status. We added a bit of industrial zoning and saw the population rise another 7,000 residents.
Below: Traffic status. Our traffic flow improved slightly from the last episode as the changes we made to the road and mass transit networks improved the backup in the circle near the airport.
Above: We added a new metro line connecting Fairview Directly to Liberty Shores and Elk Square. We also added a large train hub which will be utilized in the future.
Below: The current noise pollution situation. I wanted to take this screenshot to compare to the noise pollution after the new patch is released, which changes the mechanics of the noise pollution in the game to be based on actual traffic.
Above: The main purpose of this episode was to prepare the city a bit more for a new district which will include the Green Cities DLC content. In the next several episodes we will be building with the new content on this hill.
Below: An overhead view showing the location of the new district in relation to the city.
Above: We also added a park in the Elk Square neighborhood, along the shoreline.
Below: This is the oil and ore industrial area, and you can see we’ve worked our way through the resources already. As a result, we will need to decide how to utilize this space going forward.
Above: The industrial area is filling in but it is disappointing that the resources are running out so soon.
Below: Glamour shots.
